I was tasked with re-designing our user onboarding flow to decrease friction. I decided to expand the interface outside of the previously existing modal pictured below.

I used this flow to run through the onboarding process repeatedly, identifying pain-points and discovering where our journey could be improved.

Testing

Testing

I used Claude Sonnet to test my designs against the old onboarding flow. I found user data online, and asked Claude to create 12 personas with whom I could test my designs. After interviewing the personas, complete with first and last names and full-time jobs, I discovered that my designs decreased friction by 40%, and yielded an 83% preference in visual aesthetic.

During my internship, a new brand was being implemented. I created prototypes rapidly in Figma to quickly iterate on a design direction, and align with the direction of the new visual identity.
