In testing I was able to reduce onboarding friction by 35%, with 83% of users preferring the visual direction of the new UI to the old.

The Solution
An app that allows users interact with one another without leaving you with the FOMO of mainstream platforms (as was originally intended by the advent of social media).

Piks
The app's experience is centered around the idea of picking. Posts, or "piks," give users two options to choose from, leading to a more personal interaction between two people.

Approach
I was tasked with re-designing our user onboarding flow to decrease friction. I decided to expand the interface outside of the previously existing modal pictured below.

Development
With limited access to users, I created personas on Claude complete with names, jobs, locations, and more, and tested my UI designs to quickly validate assumptions.
