Pikwon is a stealth social media startup designed and developed in Newport Beach, California. I worked alongside Engineering, Product, and Creative managers to implement my designs.

The Problem
Mainstream social media leaves people wishing they could live someone else's life without allowing them to meaningfully interact with one another.
The Solution
An app that allows users interact with one another without leaving you with the FOMO of mainstream platforms (as was originally intended by the advent of social media).
Piks
The app's experience is centered around the idea of picking. Posts, or "piks," give users two options to choose from, leading to a more personal interaction between two people.
Approach
I was tasked with re-designing our user onboarding flow to decrease friction. I decided to expand the interface outside of the previously existing modal pictured below.
Development
I used this flow to run through the onboarding process repeatedly, identifying pain-points and discovering where our journey could be improved.
