Firstly, the ambitious, creative, and driven community of Biola University lacks the marketing and creative support to reach the markets of their business and brand ventures they pursued in addition to their academic work. Secondly, many did not have the time or space to become educated in various marketing or creative disciplines.

To solve the first problem, a traditional agency retainer model was employed for the purpose of accessible marketing within our university setting. Account managers operate on a project-basis to ensure that timeline, deliverables, and pricing all fit within the scope and need of our clients.

To solve the second problem, Crowell+ has partnered with the Digital Media Institute to offer courses and certificates on the disciplines of marketing analytics, brand and web design, and content creation to Biola community members at a discounted rate. Pictured below is one OOH poster we plastered around campus to generate interest in our launch party.

The Crowell+ Digital Media Institute is directed by Dr. Rachel Bodell, Professor of Marketing at Biola University. I currently serve as Founding Design Director, and work directly with Brahms Mulyawan, our COO, and Violet Vanderkooi, our Founding Production Director.
To serve our clients, Crowell+ partners with classes in the Crowell School of Business to staff accounts and provide real world experience for other students, before offering part-time and unpaid internships to students at the end of each semester. Pictured below is our launch party with 30+ students, faculty, and staff.

After pitching our business idea to the dean of the business school and receiving the green light, we held a launch party and began targeting our market through OOH and digital campaigns and word-of-mouth advertising. Pictured below is the logo I designed.
