The creative and driven community of Biola University lacked marketing and creative support to reach the markets of the ventures they pursue in addition to their academic work. We also realized many did not have the time to become educated in various creative or marketing disciplines.

An accessible and high-quality marketing and creative partner who provides design, marketing strategy, analytics, and content creation services, AND who act as a resource for creative education, to make creativity accessible to everyone our community. The Model

The Model

To solve the first problem, a traditional agency retainer model was employed for the purpose of accessible marketing within our university setting. I manage multiple programs and partnerships to bring creative education to everyone at my university. This includes a partnership with the Digital Media Institute of America (DMI), and the new Learning Labs lecture series to educate our campus via talented guest speakers.

The Crowell+ Digital Marketing Group is advised by Dr. Rachel Bodell, Professor of Marketing at Biola University. I founded it with 2 other business students under her mentorship. I created and proposed client intake and organizational structures to ensure scalability.


Crowell+ partners with classes in the School of Business to staff various accounts and provide real world experience for other students, before offering part-time internships to the best students at the end of each semester.

In our first year, we scaled to 10 client accounts. At one point, our university even opened an account with us, and we were able to drive a 50% increase in conversions for their graduate level applications!
